What I really enjoy is being out there, working my veggie patch. Some days the weather makes things just too wet and soggy, so why not use some of those forced indoor moments to share my experiences of organic vegetable growing?
It's a wet and soggy day here, just as well as i am about to head, not into the garden (where I really, really need to finish off the winter pruning of the apple trees, but into the kitchen to make pancakes for breakfast. Yummmm!
Hi Annie's Granny. The pancakes were just fine thank you. Usually (and does this happen to you too?) the first one never cooks quite right and usually gos to the dog, but she was out of luck today they all came out just right. She is a great and friendly character and well behaved, better than me!
I'm happy to hear she's doing so well. Annie and Otto are not always on their best behavior, there are too many wild rabbits down here to bark at! Yes, my first batch of pancakes always come out spotty, and subsequent ones come out evenly brown. Annie and Otto don't mind spotty pancakes at all!
